The best compliment I can give Doug Martin is that he “GETS THINGS DONE”. Amongst most vendors quality & price of goods is very comparable and you normally get what you pay for. The one trait that separates Martin Sales from most vendors is the service which translates to less time spent on follow ups or straightening out problems arising from an order. If you find yourself in a situation where you need something ASAP give him a call & although he doesn’t possess a magic wand he’ll doggedly pursue a solution. The guy actually likes what he’s doing!
At Deerfield Academy Martin Sales supplies us with any equipment needs we might have and most recently outfitted both boys & girls basketball, boys hockey & track & field teams with really nice uniforms. We are very pleased with the quality & the ease of replacing or filling in as little as one uniform at a time!

Martin Sales has, for years, been our “go to” supplier for athletic equipment. I call on Doug for everything from streamers for our goal posts to soccer goals to water polo balls to baseball hats. I called him a few weeks back for wood-filled home plates and I had them within 3 days. If he doesn’t have it in his warehouse he’ll get on the phone and find it for you. With all the means we have at our disposal to communicate today it sometimes seems harder to reach people. I have found that Doug owner of Martin Sales, Inc. will respond to an e mail sometimes within seconds and will always answer his phone. No need to leave a message unless he is sleeping. This may sound trivial but in our worlds were sometimes we need problems solved quickly Doug can provide the solution quickly. Martin Sales is a pleasure to work with over the years. Doug Martin is always available and very responsive to our needs regarding equipment and uniforms.
